Throughout this study programme, participants will gain a detailed understanding of several features of company law, what constitutes a company, its incorporation process, and the manner in which it may be dissolved. Participants shall be guided to understand the individual legal personality which a company obtains upon inception, legally separate from any other legal person.
Due attention will also be given to the principle of unfair and wrongful trading, and several real cases will be analysed and discussed for students to join the concept of separate juridical personality with illicit practices relating to companies.
Participants will be aware of the laws regulating companies and similar commercial entities, whilst also understanding how such laws are implemented in practice, as well as being able to recognise issues arising in their company and will ensure that the laws are complied with.
