In anticipation of the upcoming session for the advocate’s warrant exam 21 Academy is organising a short course which aims to assist participants in order to adequately prepare them for the exam.
The course, which has already been successfully delivered for the last four years, will consist of a number of sessions which shall cover the most salient aspects of civil and criminal procedure, together with a session on legal ethics. The penultimate session will be held just before the written examination and the last session will be held between the written an oral exam so that participating students will have the opportunity to revisit their answers in the written paper to better prepare for the oral exam.
The course will be delivered by leading lawyers in their respective field. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about the exam and obtain the proper guidance. Template judicial acts will be made available to all participating students who will also have the opportunity to work out and discuss past papers.
Whilst the course shall serve as a sound basis as to the content of the warrant exam and what is generally expected of participants, they should however note that, for the purposes of the exam itself, they shall still be expected to study further certain other areas of law.
