Maria Ruth graduated with a Diploma in the Laws of Procedure in 2013. The following year, she obtained a Pre-Tertiary Certificate in Foundations of Coaching. She pursued her studies in law, where in 2020 she graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), in 2021 she graduated with a Master of Advocacy, and in the same year she was called to the bar of the Republic of Malta. Following this, in the year 2022, Maria Ruth obtained her Master of Notarial Studies from the University of Malta.
Maria Ruth submitted her dissertation in the year 2019 on the Armed Forces of Malta titled “”Armed Forces Of Malta Rules Versus Human Rights Yardstick. How Do They Measure Up?” as part of her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and her Professional Report in the year 2022 titled “The application of Article 280 of the Civil Code by the Court of Revision of Notarial Acts” as part of her Master of Notarial Studies.
Maria Ruth worked at the Courts of Justice from 2014 until 2023 giving her extensive experience both from an administrative as well as a judicial perspective. She has a passion for criminal and family law, and she initially started working as a Deputy Registrar at the Courts of Justice in Malta back in the year 2017.
