Marylyn obtained her Bachelors (Honours) at the University of Malta in 2020, and as part of her Bachelors degree, she also published her dissertation entitled ‘Child Abuse and the Movement towards a Child Friendly Justice System, with particular focus on the draft Minor Protection (Alternative Care) Act 2019’.
Subsequently she completed her Masters of Advocacy (M.Adv) (Melit) at the University of Malta in 2021, following which she was admitted to the bar to practice as a lawyer in Malta in September 2022.
She joined City Legal as a legal trainee in 2018 and is now a practicing lawyer within the firm.
Throughout the years, Marylyn has worked in diverse fields of law, including General Data Protection Regulation, Public Procurement, Whistleblowing law and Civil Law. Moreover, her main area of practice are Employment Law, Negotiating and Drafting Commercial Agreements and Family Law.
