Tutorial Schedule & Notes

Research Project Proposal
Before commencing work on your research project, it is imperative that you obtain approval for your proposal. To do this, please complete the provided research project proposal form and submit it via email to info@advisory21.com.mt by no later than Friday 14 February at noon. Approval of your proposal is a mandatory step to ensure that your research meets the necessary academic standards and aligns with institutional guidelines. Failure to secure this approval may result in delays or disqualification of your project, so we strongly encourage you to prioritise this process.
Research Project
You have to answer to the research project which will be made available in the Research Project Submission form below. Project should be submitted by not later than Thursday 3 April 2025. The project has to be submitted together with the Research Project Submission Form through 21 Academy's plagiarism software Turnitin. Upload the project in pdf format. Do not scan the project but convert/save it directly to pdf. We ask you to keep the similarity percentage very low and definitely below 20%. You should review and rephrase any submissions which show more than 20% similarity. Any assignments submitted above 20% similarity will be manually investigated for plagiarism and may be failed.

We are also making the 21 Academy's Research Project Rubric available for your guidance. This is a performance-based assessment tool. Tutors will use the rubric to assist them in allocating scoring while also allowing students to understand what is required in the project and how it will be graded.

Assignment Document Format:
- Your assignment document should be structured using appropriate headings and subheadings.
- Use a professional and consistent formatting style throughout the document.
- Text - Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 line spacing
- Ensure proper citation and referencing of any external sources used in your research - Harvard Style must be used.
Word Count and Appendices:
- The main body of your assignment should be approximately 7,000 words, excluding appendices.
- Appendices can include supporting documents such as market research data, screen shots, and any additional materials that support your strategy.
Presentation
In addition to the written project, you are required to prepare and deliver a 10-minute presentation addressing the same research question.
Objectives of the Presentation:
- Share your approach to researching and preparing the project.
- Demonstrate your understanding of the topic and progress so far.
- Receive feedback on your direction and methodology to ensure you're on track.
Presentation Tips:
- Outline the industries chosen and your rationale for selection.
- Summarise key findings and insights from your analysis.
- Highlight specific examples or campaigns to support your points.
- Use visual aids like slides, charts, or graphs to enhance clarity.
- Conclude with reflections on challenges faced or areas requiring further exploration.
This dual approach will help ensure a comprehensive understanding of the research topic and refine your analytical and presentation skills.
The presentation will be delivered on M0nday 3 March 2025 between 17.30 and 18.30hrs.
This Presentation Rubric is being made available for your guidance. This is a performance-based assessment tool. Tutors will use the rubric to assist them in allocating scoring, while it also allows students to understand what is required in the presentation and how your presentation will be graded.
The presentation should be submitted in pdf format through Turnitin by not later than Monday 3 March, 2025 at 17.00hrs. Do not scan the presentation but convert/save it directly to pdf. Note that the submitted presentations will be scanned for plagiarism. A copy of the presentation in .pptx format should als0 be sent to info@advisory21.com.mt by the same deadline.
