May Schembri, a nurse by profession, started her career after graduating from the University of Malta in 2010. She subsequently obtained a top-up BSc in 2013 from the University of Derby and later read for an MSc with the University of Ulster, successfully gaining this degree in 2017.
May has numerous years of clinical experience in oncology care with immunosuppressed patients. Added to this, she was the clinical manager at a private infertility clinic. Both clinical areas require expertise and rigid infection control training and implementation of safety measures.
For the last couple of years she has actively been selling and promoting infection control products. This entails her to provide training to health care professionals and other clients. Meanwhile, May has attended numerous conferences and training courses both locally and abroad.
