Despite the COVID-19 pandemic having first reached our shores many months ago, the facts and figures relating to the viral spread have been regularly changing and updated, together with the authoritative regulations and guidelines issued by the government to help contain the virus.
Following a slight lull in case numbers throughout the early summer months, the situation has once again taken a turn for the worse and the government is again introducing certain restrictive measures throughout the coming days and weeks. This workshop aims to address your queries on them, specifically as to how they will affect your place of work and the health, safety, and well-being of your employees. Examples of regular FAQs which will be answered are the following:
- How will workplaces be affected by the new regulations? Will they apply directly to them?
- What’s become of the process for applying for approval of changes in working conditions at the DIER?
- What can we do in cases of employees travelling to high risk countries?
- Is teleworking a viable option?
This workshop will be held online and will be addressed by employment lawyer Dr Roselyn Borg together with infection control expert Ms May Schembri.
You are invited to send in your own questions to be addressed during the workshop, whilst attendees will also be encouraged to participate and share their opinions and experiences with the rest of the audience.
