Dr Theresienne Mifsud graduated Doctor of Laws at the University of Malta in 2002 and obtained her warrant to practice the legal profession in 2003. She obtained a Magister Juris degree in European and Comparative Law in 2006.
Dr. Mifsud started her career as a lawyer in the public sector, within the Consumer and Competition Division (currently the MCCAA), mainly focused on advising on local and EU consumer policy issues.
In 2007, Dr Mifsud moved to Melita, a quad player telecoms operator, where she was Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs responsible for all in-house legal and regulatory affairs for over 10 years.
In 2018 she moved to a local law firm advising on telecoms, media and information technology, data protection and commercial law matters. She is currently working freelance.
