In the existing business world, how companies investigate potential misconduct can impinge on the company’s reputation almost as much as the alleged conduct itself. Consistent principles and procedures must be followed whenever allegations of misconduct are investigated.
This webinar will cover the importance of carrying out effective and fair investigations including the basic principles such as confidentiality and impartiality. It will also cover the investigation process from beginning to end including how to question and handle witnesses.
We will also delve into the compilation of the final report. The final report is created at the conclusion of the investigation and includes the report and a summary of the facts gathered throughout the investigation.
An overview of the full disciplinary procedure will also be explained so as to give context to the workplace investigation and for participants to fully understand the importance of such an investigation and the importance of it being conducted in line with proper guidance.
Practical examples and cases will also be shared so that participants can appreciate better this important subject.
